Pull Up

“And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work. …” - Nehemiah 2:18 

“I need you to pull up.” The words came so clearly to my mind and I understood. God’s children live in a world acted upon by gravity. Downward forces both physical and spiritual are acting on us at all times, and God needs us to pull up. When we resist those downward forces, we get stronger. When we are strong we can help lift other people. Let’s pull up! 

“Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.” - Psalm 25:1
